first_thurs_september The STATION DRIVE PRECINCT holds a FIRST THURSDAY event (every first Thursday of the month) where extended shopping hours allow for Durbanites to shop well into the evening and enjoy a family affair too .
There are traders as well as eateries .

This Thursday – 1st September is one such Thursday but will be a little different -with a ” bluesy feel” .

13731560_10153914322618893_1120132791758183428_nBlues Buskers will be seen in the precinct walkways , blues bands and artists will be in some of the trading stores and eateries- in particular- S43 will have LUKE WYNGAARD (Rusty Red)performing and in theDistillery031 just upstairs-the formidable BOBBY AND THE DYNAMITES . THE STATION and THE WAREHOUSE will also have live blues music .

There is no cover charge, but it is more to create the ” blues vibe” – a teaser for what is to come as you go for a meal or drink at your favourite spot .

Paul Basson (one of the tenant committee representatives of the STATION DRIVE PRECINCT) is delighted that this year the Durban International Blues Festival will be hosted at the precinct – in THE PLANTand says ALL the tenants promise a great vibe -a taste of which you will experience this Thursday.
